How to see forward curves or future delivery dates?

This article will explain how to view prices with forward delivery dates or forward curves. 

AgFlow Free:

On the left menu, please click on PriceDiscovery and select Market Signals or Trends in the appeared options on the menu.

Please type or select the commodity you are interested in on the opened page. 

After you have selected your commodity, you will be forwarded to the Trends page with history and forward curve graphs. In the free version, you are limited to only FOB aggregated line graphs of the future delivery, and in this case, we are looking at Wheat FOB US price. By rolling over the trend line on each graph, you will get your aggregate prices on the historical and forward curve (forward deliveries) graphs. 

Algorithmic Forward curve graphs are available in the Pro version or via API.

AgFlow Lite version:

With the lite version, you may repeat all the steps from the Free version, and you will be able to get FOB and CFR trends and future delivery trends graphs. 

You can also, on the left menu, click on PriceDiscovery and select Tickers in the options appearing on the menu. On the opened page, click on +Filter and select any commodity available and apply the filters. You will get a list of tickers that represent aggregations. In the example below, we get our first ticker with aggregations for Wheat from the United States for the delivery month of October for 275.17 and 274.00 for November delivery. You may scroll to the right to reveal more aggregate quotes for months such as December and the following.

AgFlow Pro version:

With a Pro Version, you can access granular individual quotes for all available data. To see future delivery quotes, you may use any of the mentioned earlier ways or view more granular results on the Quotes page.

To reveal forward delivery quotes or forward delivery graphs on the Quotes page, please perform a basic search by selecting a commodity. In the results, simply scroll to the right to reveal all available quotes for forward months.

In the example above, we have searched for wheat forward delivery prices. We get buyer prices for November and December by swiping to the right. Also, by clicking on the quote line, the graph on the right top of the page appears, which reveals all available forward delivery quotes. This graph can be zoomed in with a simple click on it. 

The Algorithmic Forward Curves page is only available in the Pro version. To access it, please click on the PriceDiscovery on the left menu and select the Algorithmic Forward Curves page.

On the opened page, you will find 50 available forward curves.
