How do aggregations work (Trends & Tickers)?

Part of AgFlow's methodology allows you to see the most transparent, granular, and detailed prices available in the marketplace. However, some aggregations exist on the AgFlow platform before we click into seeing the most granular level of detail available.

Currently, there are several ways to get aggregations. For instance, if we select the Tickers page from the menu on the left, click on +Filter, select any commodity and apply the filters, we will get the list of tickers representing aggregations. In the example below, we get our first ticker with aggregations for Wheat from the United States for the delivery month of October for 275.17 and 274.00 for November delivery.

It is also possible to get aggregations from the Trends page. If we select the Trends page from the menu on the left, click on +Filter, and select commodity wheat, it will show us all the trends we have for wheat.

Each graph contains aggregated prices for the past three months, six months, or 12 months. This example shows a trend for United States FOB Wheat.

We can also zoom in on the graph by simply clicking on it. In the expanded graph, you can track aggregate prices on the line and get a .csv with monthly aggregations to download.
